Adult Choir (42nd Season)
Diverse and exciting repertoire; everything from Broadway hits to 20th century
and classical works. This community choir appeals to both experienced choristers
and new adult singers who want to expand their musicality. The choir features
an active community performing schedule, a social environment, and excellent
training for mature male and female voices.

Concordia Concert Choir
Auditioned, mixed-voice choir of 30-40 voices which provides education and nurture for university students at Concordia. Its repertoire focuses on sacred “a cappella” music of all ages and styles, which are performed at Concordia’s annual SACRED MUSIC FESTIVAL, Christmas Concert, and on annual tours

Concordia
Community Chorus
This large 150-200 voice non-auditioned chorus sings SATB+ repertoire from
the many centuries of music history. This year is the Chorus’s 20th
anniversary, and as well as singing in Calgary’s Jack Singer Hall
in October, a Christmas Concert at McDougall and singing at the Alberta
Legislature in Dec, the Anniversary concert will be in April 2005 at the
Winspear.

Chorale Saint-Jean prides itself in providing French-speaking singers the

Chamber Choir
Òran begins its third season in the fall and is open to SATB choristers
aged 20-30 years of age. Like its sister choir, Kokopelli, the choir strives

the summer of 2005.

of Alberta Mixed Chorus
Currently celebrating its 60th anniversary, the UAMC is the University of
Alberta’s oldest and largest choir. This mixed choir of 160 singers
presents A FESTIVAL OF NINE LESSONS & CAROLS every December. The annual
concert is presented in March and a one-week annual Spring Tour takes place
at the end of April/beginning of May. While the choir is predominantly U
of A students, members are welcomed from other post-secondary educational
institutions.
